Participant Waiver & Release of Liability
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that my participation in the Retreat to Greece with Missy Brown (hereinafter referred to as the “Retreat”) is voluntary and involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to travel/international travel-related risks, physical activity, food and beverage consumption, transportation, environmental conditions, and the actions of other participants. I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I may incur as a result of my participation in the Retreat.
2. HEALTH & MEDICAL RELEASE
I confirm that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in the Retreat’s activities, including but not limited to yoga, meditation, cooking classes, and excursions. I understand that the Retreat organizers are not responsible for providing medical care, and I assume all risks associated with medical needs while abroad. I acknowledge that I am responsible for securing travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen circumstances. I agree to immediately discontinue any activity if I feel unwell or unsafe and understand that participation in all activities is optional.
3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby release and discharge Missy Brown/Deep Play for Kids, LLC, its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, and any associated third parties from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to any loss, injury, or damage to my person or property that may occur during the Retreat, whether caused by negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law or otherwise.
4. TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATIONS
I understand that the Retreat organizers are not responsible for any travel disruptions, including but not limited to flight cancellations, missed connections, lost luggage, or delays. I acknowledge that I am responsible for ensuring my passport, visa (if required), and any necessary vaccinations are in order prior to travel.
5. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE
I grant Missy Brown/Deep Play for Kids, LLC permission to use photographs, videos, and other media taken during the Retreat that may include my image for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes. If I do not wish to be included in such media, I will notify the organizer in writing before the start of the Retreat by email at missy@missy-brown.com.
6. Force Majeure
I acknowledge that Missy Brown/Deep Play for Kids, LLC is not liable for any cancellations, delays, or changes to the Retreat due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, travel restrictions, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, I understand that all refund & payment policies will apply.
7. Itinerary. I understand that the itinerary for the retreat is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other external factors. In the event of such changes, the retreat organizers will make reasonable adjustments to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fulfilling experience for all participants. I acknowledge that these adjustments may result in modifications to scheduled activities, timing, or locations, and I agree to remain flexible and cooperate with any necessary changes made in the best interest of the retreat.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes arising from my participation in the Retreat shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation before resorting to legal action. Mediation and any subsequent legal action shall take place in the State of Connecticut.
9. Agreement to Terms & Waiver
By completing my booking and submitting payment electronically, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the Participant Waiver & Release of Liability. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and release Missy Brown/Deep Play for Kids, LLC from any liability as outlined in the waiver. I understand that this agreement is legally binding and that my participation in the retreat is conditional upon my acceptance of these terms.

Payment Policy
To secure your spot at this retreat with Missy Brown, a deposit of EUR €1,500 is required at the time of booking and is subject to the terms of the Cancellation/Refund Policy. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file August 31, 2026 if your card is on file, if not a payment link will be issued in advance of that date. If the final payment is unsuccessful, you will be notified and given 5 calendar days to complete the payment. Failure to complete payment within this period may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund of the deposit.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
The cancellation policy offers a full refund of the EUR €1,500 deposit up to 7 days from booking/receipt. After 7 days the deposit is nonrefundable as cash and may be used as a credit for a future retreat booking within 12 months of November 1, 2026.
Final Payment is due on August 31, 2026.
Cancellation Policy
• 0–7 Days After Booking: Full refund of the deposit/amount paid.
• If cancellation is made before September 10, 2026: Refund minus the deposit amount + an Administrative fee of $100 USD (or EUR equivalent).
• If cancellation is made on or after September 10, 2026: no refund is available.
Cancellation by Organizer: Full refund within 30 days of cancellation notice, including the deposit.
Cancellation Procedure: Cancellation requests must be made in writing to missy@missy-brown.com and are effective upon receipt by Missy Brown.
Refunds: Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days following the effective date of cancellation. A $100 USD (or EUR equivalent) will be deducted from the eligible amount.
Transferability: Bookings are not transferable to another person.

Travel Insurance
Highly Recommended: Travel insurance is NOT included in your package. We strongly encourage all participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. This ensures peace of mind, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience without worry. Investing in travel insurance can protect against losses from last-minute cancellations, travel interruptions, or unexpected health issues, ensuring that your investment in this retreat is protected. Participants acknowledge that failure to purchase travel insurance may result in unrecoverable financial loss.

Participant & Organizers Conduct Statement
Nourish & Wander, Missy Brown’s Greece Retreat, is intended to be a supportive, respectful, and nurturing experience for all involved. All participants, retreat hosts, and organizers commit to fostering an environment rooted in mutual respect, care, and personal responsibility.
Participants agree to conduct themselves in a manner that is considerate of others, including fellow participants, retreat staff, local hosts, and community members. Harassment, discriminatory behavior, excessive intoxication, or any conduct that compromises the safety or well-being of the group will not be tolerated.
Retreat hosts and organizers likewise commit to leading with integrity, clear communication, and respect for participants’ boundaries and well-being.
Missy Brown/Deep Play for Kids, LLC reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to remove any participant from the Retreat whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with the spirit of the retreat. In such circumstances, no refund will be issued, and the participant will be responsible for any additional travel or accommodation expenses incurred.
